A ROSE by any other name

When last I left off, I was admitted to the hospital at 10:00am yesterday, with Cervidel placed at 11:00am on July 17th. By 3:00pm, I was having contractions that I figured weren't helping me progress much. My hopes remained low because the doctor said I would be examined at 11:00pm. My contractions continued to increase in strength and frequency. By 9:00 pm, I received my epidural and boy was I grateful. By 10:00pm, I was dilated to a 5. By 11:30pm I was fully dilated. The doctor was called and the nurses stalled the pushing until 11:57pm. Allegra Rose Lisonbee was born at 12:01am on July 18th. We wanted her to be born after midnight, that way I could stay in the hospital and rest one more day. She is 5 lbs 15 ounces and 18 inches tall. Her hair looks like it may be curly. Pictures to follow.

I love babies. Especially when they're related to some of my favorite people. Now quit being baby hogs and (Mark)post some pictures when you get a minute. I can't wait to meet her!

Hey, that's MY birthday! Congratulations! I wish I could fly out and do pictures for you. As soon as you get the funding for that, let me know :)
