Sick-o

I feel like we've been sick all year. We really haven't--it just feels like that. This was one of several trips to urgent care. Aurora and I had dual breathing treatments. We pretended we were dragons. Thanks to a boat load of prescriptions, we're doing much better. Kind of miss the smoke though.

The Word Is Out

In case you weren't at church (in our ward) yesterday or were in a bubble while at church (which I usually am), the word is officially out. We are moving to Allen, TX. We are buying a new home that will be ready the end of June. Mark has accepted a job and will start in May. Our house is going on the market this weekend. It's all happening so fast, but everything is just falling into place. Here is a picture of our pile of dirt:

So why Texas?
1) We walked in the model home and knew right away this was home. You can check it out here
2) We'll be near family--three of Mark's siblings, and possibly more coming. Cousins galore!

3) The town has great schools. The elementary school is walking distance from our house. The high school has the largest marching band in North America. Notice I didn't say high school band because at 600+ they are by far bigger than any college band. We saw them at Thanksgiving at Cowboy Stadium and they were breathtaking.
4) The parks and library in Allen are fantastic, and let's face it, that's were I spend most of my time. This is the park right across the street from my SIL's house. The picture doesn't even do it justice.
And that's just the short list of why we're moving. We'll definitely miss our family and friends here, but we'll be back to visit and we have tons of room for you to visit us. And who knows, you might just want to move too!

Should I be worried?

Aurora was supposed to bring her favorite mammal to preschool for Show and Tell. She wanted to bring Blankie. I told her Blankie was not a mammal. She said it was because 1) it is a baby, 2)it has hair, and 3) it talks. If you know Aurora and her Blankie, you know these statements are all true. It's kind of scary.
