Allegra is an Italian musical term that means Joy. Rose was Mark's grandmother's middle name and I planted six rose bushes while I was pregnant with her. Added bonus--Aurora and Allegra sound beautiful together. I think it's the perfect name for her.

I love the name. Rose is also Malia's middle name after my mom's mom, who I was particularly close to. I'm glad her name lives on...and welcome to the SAHM club. It's definitely got it's perks (namely, you starting a new blog for me to read!)
Aurora and Allegra totally flow so well together! Glad that you have past that hurdle of choosing a name. It is so much harder when you throw a husbands choices in there. ;)
