So why Texas?
1) We walked in the model home and knew right away this was home. You can check it out here
2) We'll be near family--three of Mark's siblings, and possibly more coming. Cousins galore!
3) The town has great schools. The elementary school is walking distance from our house. The high school has the largest marching band in North America. Notice I didn't say high school band because at 600+ they are by far bigger than any college band. We saw them at Thanksgiving at Cowboy Stadium and they were breathtaking.
4) The parks and library in Allen are fantastic, and let's face it, that's were I spend most of my time. This is the park right across the street from my SIL's house. The picture doesn't even do it justice.
And that's just the short list of why we're moving. We'll definitely miss our family and friends here, but we'll be back to visit and we have tons of room for you to visit us. And who knows, you might just want to move too!

Yea! Okay where is Allen? Anywhere near Brenham?
4 hours and 9 minutes--not horrible. It looks like Waco is midway! Woohoo!
I was just in TX and it was beautiful this weekend! Not sure if I could take the heat in July. Good Luck moving!
I'm jealous! I want to go too :(
