Wow, Mark and I have been married for five years! Happy Anniversary Honey! I can't believe we made it!

He told me had to work on our anniversary (which was no surprise, he usually does) and then super-surprised me with an overnight trip to Long Beach, just the two of us! We went to the Queen Mary at sunset. Neither of us had been and I'd always wanted to see it. We went on the
Ghosts and Legends tour and it kind of freaked me out. Good thing Mark decided against spending the night ON the Queen Mary! Then we went to dinner at an amazingly romantic Italian restaurant,
L'Opera. Annoyingly, there was a No on Prop 8 rally right outside our hotel that night so that put a damper on our plans.
The next morning we went to the Aquarium of the Pacific, another place I'd always wanted to visit. I got to feed the birds and it was a little freaky at first.

The fish were just incredible! I had to keep reminding myself that they were real and that we weren't on the Nemo ride at Disneyland! I can't wait to bring the girls!

Project Runway anyone?

We had a fabulous time. Thank you Mark for making it a really special anniversary.
I Love You!

Happy 5 years to the two of you! What a fun and nice surprise Mark planned for you! And can I just say that you are losing the baby weight super fast and are looking GREAT!
Wow. Has it been 5 years already? I am so glad you married our super rad brother. Now I get to be related to you for eternity. I couldn't have planned this better!
Wow, who knew Mark was such a romantic? I thought he was just a crazy sports fan/sign waver (the Prop 8 sign waving parties with Mark jumping up and down on the corner is still fresh in my mind). Here's to many more years (and Eternity) together...
What a great pix of the two of you! Kudos to Mark for planning such a great surprise "mini-moon".
Way to go Mark!
I can't believe you went on that scary tour on the Queen Mary. I heard it is HORribly scary!
(Isn't that Aquarium cool?! Wish it were a tad closer. Let's make a field trip!)
Happy anniversary! Glad you got away, that is always so nice, makes you feel like a real person again, for the weekend anyway. Aurora is such a cutie in her little kimono. She has the happiest giant smile!
Happy Anniversary to you two! Looks like you enjoyed yourself, you look great!
Totally awesome, but how the heck did you go on an overnight date with a nursing baby???
